Getting Started

To use aspNetMX, you will need to download and run the aspNetMX.msi file available from www.aspNetMX.com.

Running the MSI file

Download and run the aspNetEmail.msi file. This installation wizard unpacks the aspNetEmail.dll (the only managed assembly in aspNetMX) to the default directory of C:\Program Files\AdvancedIntellect\aspNetMX.

 

Installing

The wizard also unpacks this aspNetMX.chm help file, installs the aspNetMX in the Global Assembly Cache (GAC) and installs some menu shortcuts under
Start | Programs | Advanced Intellect.

 

Uninstalling

If you are testing aspNetMX, and have installed the evaluation version, and will be purchasing the production version, you will need to uninstall the evaluation version from Start | Control Panel | Add Remove Programs. This will prevent namespace collision, and stop someone from accidentally referencing the expired, evaluation version.
